The 3M Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope provides outstanding performance and exceptional versatility. This innovative design offers a patented diaphragm on each side of the chestpiece. The large side can be used for adult patients, while the small side is especially useful for pediatric or thin patients, around bandages, and carotid assessment.

    Tunable technology provides convenience, versatility and enhanced acoustics. Its dual-frequency diaphragm combines both bell (low-frequency) and diaphragm (high-frequency) modes in one chestpiece side. You control bell and diaphragm modes by pressure on the chestpiece rather than turning it over. Featured is both an adult and pediatric-sided chestpiece, each incorporated with a tunable diaphragm. This innovative design allows you to use both sides of the stethoscope for monitoring high- and low-frequency sounds.
    Bell Mode: (low-frequency)
    Use light contact with tunable chestpiece to hear low frequency sounds.
    Diaphragm Mode: (high-frequency)
    Without turning the chestpiece over, use firm pressure to hear high-frequency sounds.

    Laser engraving on the tubing is a goldish color. We can not change or determine the engraving color. There will be variations of the color of the engraving dependent on the tubing color.For example:The engraving on the plum is more of a gold/orange color and the engraving on the burgundy is a brown-gold color, and the engraving on the chocolate is a black shade (and does not stand out very well).

    Littmann stethoscopes may ship only within the US.

    If the tubing needs to be replaced, Redding Medical will re-engrave the tubing for free as long as the stethoscope is under warranty and was purchased from Redding.
